The Art of Seducion

The Art of Seduction

Cornelis worked in 2007 for the VEA (association for communication agencies) and was hired to coordinate an exhibition at the Cobra Museum for Modern Art, celebrating the 90th anniversary of the VEA. This exhibition, titled ‘The art of seduction' showed award winning advertisements and commercials made in the Netherlands.
After an initial selection for possible advertising campaigns for the show, Cornelis connected with 30 advertising agencies responsible for the different campaigns.
He collaborated with the staff of the museum, McCann (advertising agency responsible for concept and design of the exhibition) and production companies.
Cornelis did the final selection of what would be shown within the 8 chosen themes. Then Cornelis worked with a post-production company and printer to have all works and show reals produced. Together with the printer Cornelis had to suggest ideas and solutions to execute the creative ideas. Cornelis had less than 3 months to accomplish this very complex and time consuming project. Once the exhibition opened Cornelis gave some guided tours on request to special groups.
